Busy Summer Time

The past week was so busy and it isn't slowing down anytime soon. It seems like everything in the garden comes in at once, visits with friends and family, mowing grass finally after the mower was broke for over a week. It all needs to be done at the same time. However, I enjoyed all of it. So here are a few pictures from my week...
Green beans
Corn

more corn....

more corn....

and more corn......

zucchini bread

Spent a day with my love at a dairy that is about 40 minutes away. They were having a vintage truck show!! Which my lover enjoyed!!

This is the truck my lover liked. Go big or go home...that's his motto!

Pretty cool jeep truck.

I decided that this could be my daily driver. It was sweet! We have a thing for trucks around our house. We love them!

And you can't go to a dairy without getting ICE CREAM!!! This has been my weakness this summer. I got one scoop of cookies and cream and it was the equivalent of three scoops! It was so yummy! Yeah I ate it all!

In between all that I visited with my friend from out of town, spent the day with my sissy, we went to IKEA for my first time....wow....what a great week!

This week I started back to work and canned more beans today!! I love canning! I have a bushel of peaches ripening up. Does anyone have any good peach recipes?? I would love to hear about them!

  1. Whew! You have been busy! I'm inspired to get cooking Zuchinni bread now. My garden, doesn't produce anything for me to can. We eat what we get fresh I'm hoping to enlarge it so that I can put some in the pantry for the winter months.

A few weeks ago you asked about my spaghetti sauce. Of course, I would be willing to share. I'm sorry it's taken so long to reply. I'll try to email that to you today.

    Stay cool. :)
