Favorite Things Friday....

Quilts...I love them....They are cozy, warm, comforting. There is something special about them.
 I have a few that my Grandmother made and I cherish them.
This one she made when i was a baby..

I'm not sure when she made this one. I love how she used all different fabric scraps!

This one I found at a garage sell for $5.


These pillows use to be a quilt until I cut it up and made pillow covers out of them. I bought it at a garage sell as well. (Excuse the foot at the bottom of the picture...)

This quilt my mom made when I was a baby.

This quilt is outstanding...my great aunt made it and I love it! It is called "Egg Money"

I have attempted to make quilts and they turn out ok. Mostly mine have been baby blankets that have little ties or tacking instead of actual quilting. I just don't have the patience.

I have been wanting to make a quilt for my bed, quilted or tied, but I haven't got around to it yet.

So there you have it..one of my Favorites!

    Sarah Beth~~ go to the design button then the "template designer" then the advanced button and you can choose from all sorts of new fonts for your blog!!!! Check it out! Hope you had fun on your girls trip---

    Hi Sarah Beth, thanks for stopping by my blog! You asked about my music and how to get it for your blog...it's easy, just go to playlist.com and type in some favorite songs...that will build your playlist, then follow the instructions to get an account (it's free).
